The Preparation Course

We believe it is essential to be able to access high quality psychedelic preparation resources for everyone who is considering intentionally working with psychedelics for personal and spiritual development.

This is why we have made this course a free offer to all, with a donation option for those in a position to donate and help us to continue to share the work we do.

Here's an overview of the preparation framework:

Week One: Intentions

This week is all about learning about psychedelics, what they are, how they work, and understanding the neuroscience behind them. Then we will be setting intentions for working with psychedelics (and removing expectations). You will do a few exercises such as the holistic life inventory and figure out what you want to transform.

Week Two: Dieta Protocol

An introduction to detoxing using shamanic traditions to prepare the mind, body and soul to work with plant medicines and get the most from your experience. We will cover the best things to eat and drink, how to detox the mind, and anything it's best to avoid or abstain from for the couple of weeks leading up to the retreat.

Week Three: Mental Preparation

In this module we will start to explore psychological practices you can use to build mental stamina for the work ahead, and also to prime the mind for inner-calmness and self-reflection following your psychedelic experience. This will also be a powerful inner toolbox of strategies to use if you have a difficult experience.

Week Four: Spiritual preparation

This week we look at how to create a spiritual connection with ourselves as we prepare for our psychedelic work, we will cover the importance of silence and contemplation, cleansing and purification, making offerings, and connect with nature in the lead up your retreat.

Week Five: Practical Preparations

This is the week of your retreat (or psychedelic experience), this is practical guidelines around conduct in ceremony, what to expect, what to bring on a retreat as well as how to set up a comfortable safe space from home. We discuss dosage, set and setting in psychedelic work, as well as the importance of a guide.
